Spring Perch
2024
16.00" H x 24.00" W | Acrylic on Masonite
Weathered cattails transform into balls of brown, fuzzy fluff following a long winter. A marsh wren is perched precariously and soaks up the heat from the morning sun in a field of cattails. One of the bird’s toes juts out near the top of a cattail while the other leg clutches two plant stems
together in a balancing act.
